One-Time

Ideal for individuals with a simple planning need, young families, and DIYers.

  • $900 - $1800

    (depending on complexity)

    • A holistic review of assets, debts, and insurance

    • A single meeting in person or via Zoom (typically 1-2 hours)

    • A 1-page financial plan with recommendations including:

      • Employer retirement account allocation

      • Pre-tax vs Roth analysis

      • Portfolio risk assessment

      • Tax planning

      • Private school and college funding

      • Asset protection

      • Debt optimization

      • Insurance needs analysis

Firefighter Financial Planner

Ongoing (most common)

Ideal for individuals and families who value the integration of financial planning and investment management on an ongoing basis.

  • 1% of assets under management (AUM)

    (plus $900 annually until AUM is over $90K)

    • .8% from $1M-$2M

    • Fixed fee above $2M

  • Think of Ongoing Planning as hiring a guide to take you to your desired destination.

    • Investment management custodied at Charles Schwab

    • Access to financial advice year-round

    • Annual reviews in person or via Zoom

    • Integration with other trusted advisors (CPAs, attorneys, etc.)

    • A comprehensive and long-term planning relationship to include:

      • Employer retirement account allocation

      • Pre-tax vs Roth analysis

      • Portfolio risk assessment

      • Rebalancing
